"Before working on this article, I had no idea what CBDCs were, much less how they were different from current digital payment systems or cryptocurrencies. Reading through, understanding, and performing further research on concepts like blockchain and closed-loop capital flow helped me deepen my understanding of different types of payment systems, as well as their respective benefits, weaknesses, and potential challenges. Additionally, when rewriting the article and producing the video, I learned how to simplify concepts and explanations using images, diagrams, and examples, to make it easier for others to digest." | |||

"With new news about the global inflation crisis flowing in every day, this video ("The Era of High Inflation") was especially interesting to produce. Trying to explain in a simple way the mechanisms behind concepts we tend to throw around in our Economics classes helped me more wholly understand even simple topics. Regardless, there were still certain concepts I glossed over, and would like to delve deeper into with more time. I learned to have a better balance between efficiency and detail during the video production process, from copy-and-paste shortcuts to using mixed media. The process of creating my script went more smoothly as well, with a better direction of what I needed to change or add to the original article."
